NDIS provider software

NDIS provider software for the front door.

LYD Assist answers enquiries from participants, families and coordinators quickly, books the intake call and follows up, then hands the participant to the NDIS system you already run.

Why does the front door matter so much for NDIS providers?

Because most participants choose for themselves. At 30 June 2026, 69 percent of NDIS participants were plan-managed and 25 percent self-managed, so 94 percent can choose any provider. With 280,258 active providers, the one who answers quickly and clearly is the one who gets the call back.

Figures are from the NDIS Quarterly Report to Disability Ministers, Q4 2025-26 (NDIA, June 2026), which counts 782,013 active participants. Of the 280,258 active providers, 18,309 were registered.

Participants, families, support coordinators and plan managers all make enquiries. A slow or vague reply loses the referral quietly. Nobody tells you why.

What does LYD Assist do for an NDIS provider?

It puts every enquiry from your website, phone, email and socials into one CRM, answers common questions through an AI assistant at any hour, books intake calls, sends follow-up, records the referral source, asks for reviews and shows enquiry numbers on one dashboard.

  • An AI assistant for common questions about your supports, areas and availability.
  • Enquiries captured with support type, suburb and contact details.
  • Intake calls booked into your calendar, with reminders.
  • Follow-up for families and coordinators who have not replied.
  • Referral source tracking for reporting, never for paying referral rewards.
  • Local SEO for the areas you support.

Does LYD Assist replace my NDIS software?

No. Rostering, case notes, participant records, service agreements and claiming stay in your NDIS practice system. LYD Assist covers the steps before intake: the website, the AI assistant, enquiry capture, booking, follow-up and reviews. Accepted participants move into your system of record.

What rules should NDIS marketing and follow-up respect?

Three stand out. Do not call services NDIS approved or say they are covered by funding, because the NDIA treats that as misleading. Do not offer support coordinators incentives or gifts for referrals. And treat participant enquiries as health information under the Privacy Act, whatever your turnover.

The NDIA's campaign on misleading promotion (4 December 2025) has produced 604 referrals to the ACCC. In June 2026 the ACCC issued a $19,800 infringement notice to a registered provider over ads saying "If you have NDIS funding, it's covered". The OAIC counts disability service providers handling health information as health service providers, so the small business exemption does not apply.

How do the 2026 to 2030 registration changes affect enquiries?

Referral channels are shifting. Mandatory registration for high-risk supports starts on 1 July 2027, plan management moves to an NDIA panel from 1 October 2027, and a new NDIA-appointed support coordination service starts in July 2028. A provider with its own steady enquiry flow depends less on any single channel.

How much does NDIS provider software cost?

LYD Assist is quoted in a written proposal before you commit, based on your supports, locations and the add-ons you choose. Ask any provider for the full monthly figure with messaging and usage included, the contract term and notice, and how participant data is returned if you leave.

Common questions

  • Does the AI assistant decide eligibility or funding?

No. It answers common questions and passes people to your team. It makes no eligibility decisions and no funding promises.

  • Do I need to be registered to use LYD Assist?

No. It works for registered and unregistered providers. Supported Independent Living and NDIS platform providers must now be registered, and high-risk supports follow from July 2027.

  • Does it work with self-managed and plan-managed participants?

Yes. It is built for participants and families who choose providers directly, which covers most people on the scheme.

  • Can it reward support coordinators for referrals?

No. Incentives and gifts for referrals conflict with NDIS Code of Conduct guidance. It records referral sources for reporting only.

  • How long does setup take?

Within 7 working days of receiving your onboarding details.

  • Can I see it working first?

Yes. Open the live demo at lydassist.com, then book a free 30-minute discovery call.
